BMW Radical Concept

Turkish designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem has returned with a new concept BMW motorcycle “Radical Concept". The bike would come complete with what looks like a full piece armor body, an elevated rear wheel, and super low handlebars. The latter two placing riders in an aerodynamic position to increase those lightning quick speeds only a BMW could offer. Meanwhile, the monolithic and minimal design with chrome detailing adds to the tough but high-tech aesthetic. There are currently no plans for BMW to create the bike as Erdem’s concepts are completely independent from the huge German manufacturer.

New Toyota Supra On Course For 2018 Launch

Toyota has been working on the model since 2015, but has now begun to move development further forward with the fastback coupé set to arrive in 2018. The next-generation ‘Supra’ will come as the long-awaited successor to the Japanese manufacturers emblematic coupé, which was discontinued in 2002. The new sports car is expected to be considerably more expensive than the popular ‘GT86’, reflecting what is likely to include a more complex powertrain and high-tech construction. The ‘Supra’s’ form will draw its influence from the ‘FT-1 concept’s’ design language incorporating curved, expressive body forms shaped by the wind; inlets, air ducts, and vent features help reinforce its aggressive track stance with airflow management and highly aerodynamic elements.

Unlike almost all of the other rubber band Gatling guns out there The Arcus uses the energy from the rubber bands that it is shooting to spin the barrels. The Arcus also features the arm mount system, meaning that to hold it you put your arm through the center and the barrels will spin around your arm. A cam system is used so that when you pull the trigger the barrels will start the rotation. All of the parts are designed to snap together, no screws or glue required, because of this it can be taken apart and reassembled as many times as you want. The only other thing used in the assembly besides the printed parts is rubber bands. Aston Martin And Red Bull Racing Unveil The AM-RB 001 Hypercar

Back in March, Aston Martin and Red Bull confirmed that they were hard at work on creating the world’s fastest hypercar: Project Nebula, a successor of sorts to Aston’s own Vulcan. Now, just a few short months later, the wraps have been taken off the fruits of the collaboration. Aptly dubbed the AM-RB 001, the vehicle comes in the form of a V12 mid-engine two-seater — one helmed by renowned F1 engineer and longtime McLaren man Adrian Newey, as well as Aston’s Marek Reichman and David King. Though tech specs have yet to be revealed, Aston Martin says the lightweight carbon fiber hypercar will be assembled at its Gaydon facility in the United Kingdom and feature 25 track-specific models along with between 99 and 150 street-legal units. According to Red Bull, the customer list for those production units “reads like a who’s who of F1 legends, moguls, and megastars.” Said Newey of the project: The synergy between Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin is clear. I knew Red Bull Racing had the ability to handle the pure performance aspects, but Aston Martin’s experience of making beautiful, fast, and comfortable GT cars is of great benefit to the project. The AM-RB 001 is currently on track to arrive in 2018. (hypebeast)
