The First Trailer For The Wachowskis' "Jupiter Ascending"

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for Andy and Lana Wachowski's Jupiter Ascending, starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D'Arcy, Tim Pigott-Smith and Bae Doo Na. In the new film from "The Matrix" directors, opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on July 25, 2014, Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos. Maximo Park Premiere New Video “Leave This Island"

Maxïmo Park have released a video for new single 'Leave This Island'. The track has been taken from their upcoming fifth studio album Too Much Information, which is released on February 3. 'Leave This Island' will be released on 12" and digital download on January 27, 2014, with B-sides 'A Vague Implication', a Mogwai remix of 'Leave This Island' and a Dave Okumu remix of previous buzz track 'Brain Cells'. The A-side was recorded in Sunderland by the band's keyboardist Lukas Wooller and Field Music's David and Peter Brewis. (digitalspy)

Metallica Plays Antarctica Gig

Emblematic heavy metal band Metallica played a concert here for 100 contest-winners who listened to hits such as "Sad But True" through headphones as the group dispensed with amplifiers to spare the local wildlife. The performance took place inside a small, transparent dome next to the heliport at Argentina's Carlini Station. With the Fourcade glacier as a backdrop, the California band played 10 songs for winners of a contest sponsored by Coca-Cola Zero. Besides "Sad But True," the set featured Metallica classics including "Creeping Death," "Master of Puppets," "Enter Sandman" and "Seek & Destroy." The one-hour show followed more than a year of intense work and preparation under the supervision of Argentina's National Antarctic Directorate to ensure the event caused no adverse impact to the fauna or the environment. "This was the most unique show Metallica has ever done," the group said afterward in a statement posted on its Web site. "The band, contest winners, research station scientists (from Russia, South Korea, China, Poland, Chile, Brazil and Germany), and the ship crew, all crammed in this little dome out on the helipad of Carlini Station in Antarctica! Official Trailer For "Nurse 3D"

Lionsgate has released the trailer for director Doug Aarniokoski's Nurse 3D, starring Paz De La Huerta, Katrina Bowden and Corbin Bleu. Check it out in the player below. The horror thriller features a script by David Loughery and follows Abby Russell, by day a dedicated nurse and someone you wouldn’t hesitate to trust your life with. By night, however, her real work begins… Using her smoldering sexuality she lures cheating men to their brutal deaths and exposes them for who they really are. When a younger nurse starts to suspect Abby's actions and compromises her master plan, Abby must find a way to outsmart her long enough to bring the cheater you’d least expect to justice.
