Makaya McCraven Reworks Gil Scott-Heron’s “Where Did The Night Go"
Makaya McCraven shared his recording of “Where Did The Night Go” from the Chicago-based jazz musician’s upcoming new album, We’re New Again. The record is a reinterpretation of late musician, poet and author Gil Scott-Heron’s final album, I’m New Here. XL Recordings will issue We’re New Again on February 7, marking the 10th anniversary of the release of I’m New Here.
