Audi is paving the way towards an electric future with the PB 18 E-tron.
A shooting brake-style hypercar, the PB 18 is the definition of a
concept car, with loads of futuristic technology and features. Inside, the driver sits in a pod designed to be positioned in the
center of the car to give an ideal, race car driving position, like the R-18 E-tron. Unlike a race car, however, the PB-18 seats two. When a passenger
comes along, the driver's pod can slide to the left to allow access to a
second seat on the right, set just behind it. The second seat has
an ordinary three-point belt, unlike the racing belt up front. Audi didn't skip on performance, either
three electric motors provide 612 pound-feet of torque and a 0-60 time
of two seconds. With 310 miles of range and a fast charging time of 15
minutes, Audi has a bright future with electric vehicles.
