Crafted for “one of Ferrari‘s most dedicated customers,” the SP38 is in a class all its own. Crafted from the chassis and running gear of a 488 GTB, the SP38 sports design details influenced by the F40,
including rear spoiler and engine cover construction influenced by the
heritage car. Boasting ultra-thin headlights and a carbon fiber flip-up
assembly, the SP38 was designed with speed in mind, as its owner
reportedly maintains a “deep passion for racing.” According to Top Gear,
stats may include a 0-62 time of approximately three seconds with a top
speed of 205, if the SP38 is comparable to a standard 488 GTB. The
unique car is one of Ferrari’s one-off models, never to be repeated
again. (hypebeast)
