ARES Design Set To Revive A Ferrari 412

Former Lotus CEO Dany Bahar established ARES Design to make one-of-kind automobiles for the luxury collector market. The company’s second project of 2018 is dubbed “Project Pony” it will be a recreation of the Ferrari 412. The 412 was one of the first models from the automaker to offer automatic transmission which launched in 1985. While only 576 units were created, the car’s initial debut didn’t gain much traction leading to very few owners. Today, it’s one of the most sought-after models in the collector world. At the request of the client, the company will rebody the Ferrari GTC4Lusso using retro carbon-fiber bodywork on the GTC4’s chassis while maintaining the 412’s all-wheel drivetrain and V12 engine. The reworked 412 expects to transmit power through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and will be priced around $875,000 USD. (hypebeast)
