Guinness-Flavored Potato Chips
Guinness-flavored foods are none too surprising, given how universally
beloved Ireland’s most famous beer is. What is surprising is how long
it’s taken for Guinness
to be paired with potato chips, a match seemingly made in snack heaven.
British chip manufacturer Burt’s British Hand Cooked Chips has remedied
this gross oversight, creating Guinness-flavored chips in two distinct
varieties: Original and Rich Beef Chili. To give them the unmistakably
bittersweet taste of Guinness, FoodBeast reports that the “thick cut,
hand cooked chips are seasoned with roasted barley and hops. The verdict
according to Foodbeast is flavor that definitely succeeds in emulating
the famous Irish stout, with an overall taste that’s “not bad at all.”
If you’re in the UK, pick up a bag and taste for yourself. (hypebeast)
